At what age can I bring my child along to one of your sessions?

Our parent and toddler session starts from when children are walking.

How do I sign my child up?

Can we try out a session before joining the Club?

Yes, we offer a taster session before any class payment will need to be made. This will give participants a chance to try out one of our sessions before deciding if they would like to join up as a full member.

Can I watch the class?

In the venues in which we operate from there are no designated spectator areas, so to maximize the space for the children and to minimize distraction, we ask parents to leave once they have ensured their child is happy and settled within their class. Please also respect that children have signed up to ‘practice’ gymnastics rather than ‘perform’ in front of other parents and we hope to provide separate opportunities for those who wish to perform.

What happens after the taster session?

Following your child’s taster session you will receive a message from us to see if your son/daughter enjoyed their class, and if you would like to sign them up as a full member of the club.

Do I need to pay monthly?

Yes please, we take monthly fees of £25.00 this covers 4 and 5 week months as well as a two week break at Christmas and in the Summer.

Note: FUNdamentals classes on a Wednesday morning 9.30 – 10.30 – Parent and Toddler (Walking to age 2) and 10.45 – 11.45 – Independent (Ages 3-4) cost £21 per Month

How can I Pay?

All fees are managed through an online payment system called PaySubsOnline. Each member will need to set up a direct debit when signing up, which will collect £25.00 (or £21 see Note re: Fundamentals classes above) automatically once a month. No payment is required before the taster session, and the direct debit will only begin once we have confirmation the participant would like to join after their taster session.

Are there any other costs?

As a British Gymnastics affiliated club all members are required to have British Gymnastics Membership which includes insurance. Parents/guardians will need to process their child’s BG Membership as soon they become a full member of the club directly through the BG website. The membership fee is £17.00 per gymnast, or if the gymnast isn’t yet in full time education the fee is reduced to £11.00. The membership year runs from October to October each year. How long is each session?

Each session is one hour long and includes a warm up, main session and a cool down. Visit ‘Our Classes’ to read more about the content of our classes.

Do I need to stay around whilst the session is on?

You are free to sign your children in then come back towards the end of the session to collect them.

What equipment do you have?

All our locations are stocked with Gymnastics and safety equipment for the development of Gymnastics skills. Equipment includes Mini Apparatus, Springboards, Safety Matting, Trampettes, Floor Matting, various Training Aids and Inflatable Tumbling Tracks.

Do you have a waiting list?

Most of our sessions do have waiting lists which is why we ask all parents and guardians to get in touch with us to register interest to avoid disappointment when turning up to one of our sessions. We continuously review numbers in all of our sessions to invite gymnasts from the waiting list for a free trial session with us.

What do we need to wear?

Gymnastics and dance leotards can be worn as well as shorts and T-shirts. We recommend nothing too baggy that could get caught on any apparatus. Gymnasts with long hair will need to tie it back during all gymnastics sessions.

Do we need to bring a drink?

Drinks can be brought into class and set to one side along with any other items they are not using such as bags, coats and shoes.

At what time do I need to arrive before each session?

Please arrive at least five minutes before the start of the class and arrive back five minutes before the class is due to finish. Please check if Gymnasts need to go to the toilet before the class begins to avoid disruption as much as possible.

Are there changing facilities?

All our locations do have changing and toilet facilities.

Do you close during the year at all?

We close for two weeks throughout the year and two weeks at Christmas. All members are offered 48 weeks of delivery inside one calendar year. In the event of a class cancellation, parents will be notified well in advance by email.

What do I do if my child wishes to leave the club?

You must give at least one week’s notice via email before your direct debit payment is due, to avoid being charged. Refunds will not be provided for those gymnasts who leave the club without informing us at least one week before their monthly direct debit payment.
